The conference committee invites you to actively participate in this international event and submit papers for publication and presentation at the conference.
AUTHORING GUIDELINES
The programme committee accepts scientific papers on the stated conference themes with a focus on the Central Asian Region.
Active participation in the conference is invited via presentation of a paper or poster, or through workshop attendance. Accepted papers will be published before the conference in the proceedings volume of GISCA’09. Please submit your paper abstract no later than at the date indicated in the Conference Schedule Overview to gisca09@aca-giscience.org. Accepted papers will only be published and retained in the programme after registration of at least one author / presenter.
Conference registration will be open from May 1.
Paper submission:
Author(s) are required to submit a digital version of their paper in MSWord format. Format of the page: A4 (210×297mm). Bottom and top margins = 25mm; Left and right margins = 20 mm. Font size is 12 points, font type is Times New Roman. The title of the paper should be in bold capital letters and centered on the page. The author’s name and address should be in the second line and
сentered. An abstract in English follows, with one line space after and before. The main body text should be single-spaced and fully justified, and words should be without syllable division. The paper can include pictures and tables, but will not be reproduced in color.Please refer to the conference website for more detailed instructions and a paper template.
The length of the paper shall be 6 pages (including pictures, tables, references etc). No more than 2 papers are accepted from one author.
